Hello Experts,
We have a Product Hierarchy built on 0material in our company and I recently realigned the nodes from one level to another to meet new reporting needs.
Here is the existing scenario:
I realigned all above nodes to meet my reporting requirments and I dragged Crackers, Salty food and Drinks from Level 03 into Level 02 along with BreakFast Frozen and Convenience material.
It looks like this now
I created a new Hierarchy variable on 0material on the BEx side but the problem is that when I pull this new hierarchy arrangement in the BEx query and run the report, I only see Crackers along with Breakfast Frozen and Convenience on Level 02 but dont see Salty Food and Drinks.
Note that I also have some "Not Assigned material" and I was wondering if Salty Food and Drinks are not been assigned. (not sure). but atleast I see Salty food in unassigned nodes for sure.
Since this is just a regrouping of nodes I was hoping that atleast I would be able to see all 6 nodes on Level 02 under the Root Node.
can anyone please advise the reason and what needs to be done to resolve this
ALSO CAN ANYONE PLEASE ADVISE IF THIS SOLUTION WILL NOT DISTURB OTHER LEVELS IN THIS HIERARCHY IN THE BEX OUTPUT IN THE REPORT AS I HAVE 7 HIERARCHY LEVELS 1 TO 7 (1 BEING ROOT NODE AND SO ON)
