I have recently upgraded to the 720 GUI, and have found that when I open Query Designer 7.x, Open Query, and select Find on the left, the "Search Method" combo box just above the text box is grayed out. I am able to search on Description and Technical name, but I believe "Search Method" would also give options to search on users and dates, much like the "Find" in 3.x.
