We have a requirement in BEx where a Interval entered by user will be used to calculate 3 different DATE fields. For instance, users want to see ratio of all the work orders completed compared to work orders issued for a particular time frame. Which mean if user enters Jan.2012 as selection criteria, the report should calculate all orders that has Technical Completion Date in JAN.2012, Basic Start Date in Jan.2012 as well as Actual Release in Jan.2012.
How can we provide a variable in selection screen which is not associated with these three dates but will pass values to restrict Tech Completion, Basic start and Actual Release to entered selection. Also how can we achieve CALMONTH vs % Work Order Issued/Completed at report level as in the data model our CALMONTH is mapped to Basic Start Date.
