I have seen this question has been posted before, but unable to find a clear answer.
We have a characteristic say 0Plant to keep it simple that has values we do not want the user to display in a list of values in Bex Web.
These plants have transactional data so the master data records cannot be deleted.
While this list may be small, we have other characteristics like salesperson that have many hundreds and we want to 'hide' these from the list of values in some cases. Thereis also scenarios where we want to view the full list of values.
I understand we can create characteristic filters and variable defaults, but the list of values needs to remain as a selection.
Any advice?
